courtney + hans anniversary shoot

courtney and hans have been married nearly two years are are still madly in love. its wonderful and refreshing to hangout with them, and i am honored to call them friends. we spent a lovely afternoon shooting at point lobos. hanni liliedahl designed the beautiful bouquet for the shoot! after hearing more on courtney and hans’ story i asked courtney to write a little about her wedding experience and thoughts she would like to share with future brides

“On your wedding day, you want to be able to just enjoy every moment. It is up to the photographer you choose to capture those moments and take pictures you will want for your lifetime together. My husband and I are about to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. I got back into my wedding dress and he put on a shirt and tie to re-take pictures together with ever whim photographs.when we got back the pictures from our wedding day (from another photographer), there were none of my husband by himself nor I by myself and there were only 4 pictures total that had just us in them without bridal party, family, etc. There are too many things going on and people to say hello to that day. One rarely takes the moment to say, “wait, I didn’t get that picture”. Choose your wedding photographer wisely. Just because they have a list of the pictures you want taken, does not mean that will happen the day of the wedding. Our photographer had that list. Jennifer at ever whim photographs recreated those moments for us two years later. I now have pictures to put on my walls and finally feel as though I can finish our wedding album. Jennifer made us feel so comfortable and put us back in that moment. I can’t wait to start decorating our house with the beautiful, timeless, and classic photographs that she took. She took the time to understand us, what we thought we had missed, and adapted to every request and situation. She is truly a professional and while we didn’t know she existed on our wedding day, we will be using her for all the special occasions in our future.”

we took full advantage of a beautiful central cost day, they changed into some more relaxing cloths and we took a short drive further down the cost to take some sunset photographs
